About Us

Carter Kendall, founder of Five Oaks Capital, brings over 15 years of land expertise to his investors. Prior to establishing Five Oaks Capital, Carter served clients as a Senior Vice-President of Land at CBRE, Inc. (CBRE) in Dallas, Texas.  He also previously held leadership roles with Henry S. Miller Brokerage LLC , D.R. Horton Inc. (DHI) and Green Brick Partners, Inc. (GRBK).

He is an experienced land leader with a demonstrated history of success. His professional experience includes a combination of land brokerage, title analysis, zoning, contracts, district creation, development agreements and land investment analysis. Five Oaks Capital is currently focused on acquiring value add land investments across Texas.

Carter and his wife, Hannah, reside in Richardson, Texas, with their three children. Together, they are committed to raising their children in a gracious home and making a positive impact on the communities they serve. Carter's passions include golf, fishing and spending time with his family in the outdoors.

Carter attended Baylor University and earned a BBA in Real Estate and Business Management in 2009. He attributes much of his success to the timing of his graduation, the middle of the great recession, which naturally taught him a great work ethic.
